Web Traffic
Web Traffic
Overview
Fetch website traffic and engagement metrics for a domain via SimilarWeb (through Scrappa). Returns global / country / category rank, estimated monthly visits and a 3-month trend, engagement (visits, time on site, pages per visit, bounce rate), traffic-source channel split, top countries, and top organic keywords. Protocols, www, and paths are stripped automatically — every lookup resolves to the apex domain.
When to use
- Qualify or score inbound leads by how much traffic their website gets.
- Enrich a list of company domains with traffic and engagement signals for prioritization.
- Pull top organic keywords and traffic-source split to inform outreach or competitive research.
[!NOTE]
SimilarWeb has no data for many small or new domains. Those lookups complete successfully with found: false and a message, and are not charged — you only pay the 7 credits when traffic data is returned. Genuine upstream errors (auth, rate limit, 5xx) still fail and are refunded.
