TikTok User Search

Overview

Search TikTok accounts by keyword, one page per call. Each account comes with handle, display name, follower count, region and bio as the search shows them. next_cursor in the response goes back as cursor for the next page.

When to use

Find starting accounts (seeds) of a niche for tiktok_find_leads or tiktok_following.
Look up which accounts TikTok shows for a brand or trade term.

For whole lead lists use tiktok_find_leads: the user search brings only 1 to 3 leads per 100 lookups, the following snowball 23 to 27.

A page with accounts costs 2 credits, a page without any costs nothing.

`queued`	Request accepted; waiting to be picked up by a worker.
`processing`	Worker is actively running the enrichment.
`completed`	Enrichment finished and results are available in `output`.
`failed`	Enrichment failed; reason is in `error`. Credits are refunded for failures.

Errors

Error	When it happens	What to do
`invalid_input`	`keyword` is missing or shorter than 2 characters.	Fix the request payload and retry.
`rate_limited`	The platform throttled the lookup. The run goes back to the queue and continues by itself.	No action.
`provider_error`	The data source returned an unexpected error. The run fails and is refunded.	Retry later; if persistent, contact support.
`503 endpoint_unavailable`	The endpoint is currently not configured. Nothing is reserved or charged.	Retry later; if persistent, contact support.
